All you Star Wars Fans out there have a great news coming up! You can now experience Star Wars differently to a whole new level! This experience blends Virtual Reality And the real-world elements. The Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire VR Experience is being created by Walt Disney for their US Resorts. You can find this at the Disney resorts in California and Florida from the upcoming holiday season onwards. In an earlier post, you had read about Disney’s Star Wars VR Rides. Now, you can have a complete VR Experience of Star Wars. Walt Disney has partnered with The Void,  a Virtual Reality Studio.

The Void is a Virtual Reality Studio that specializes in hyper-reality and creating Virtual Reality experiences. Popular immersive units of Lucas Films and ILMxLAB are also working with The Void. The well-known VR experience of “Ghostbusters”. Here’s what the Chief Executive of The Void, Cliff Plumer has to say about it, “The visual fidelity, the sound, all the other sensory effects. If Ghostbusters was version one, it’s hard to even put a number on which version this is because it’s not version two.” Star Wars new VR Experience lets you hear, touch and smell as well.  However, the release date of this has not been mentioned yet.

Two years ago, Disney had also announced about their NBA experience involving Virtual Reality. Furthermore, they announced that it would feature more of hands-on activities compatible for all age groups during the NBA Game action. The upcoming Star Wars experience is expected to be much more advanced with the help of latest technology which will be used by The Void.
